MOESIA INFERIOR, Odessus. Gordian III. AD 238-244. Æ Pentassarion (27mm, 13.07 g, 1h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gordian III right vis-à-vis draped bust of Serapis left, draped and wearing modius, with cornucopia over shoulder / Sarapis standing facing, head left, raising hand and holding scepter; E (mark of value) to left. Varbanov 4532. VF, green patina. An attractive example.
